Twenty four teams competed in the event with four Tour teams playing. Unfortunate that the draw was such the Tour teams played against each other early in the first event. Three Tour teams went on to play in finals with Team J Smith in the first, Team Brooks (with Warr skipping) in the fifth and Team Melville in the eighth. Brooks and Melville were both winners of their events.
Smith and Brooks both moved up in the standings.
